The Rohnert Park’s Founder’s Day Celebration is on Saturday, September 21st, 2013. The day starts with a 5K Founders Run at 8 a.m., Parade at 10 a.m., and the Festival is at 11 a.m. The event concludes at 7 p.m.
This year's parade theme is "Your Favorite Story Book." The .7 mile parade route begins at Lawrence E. Jones Middle School, 5154 Snyder Lane, and ends at Rancho Cotate High School, 5450 Snyder Lane. It will feature grand marshals, elected officials, homecoming candidates, marching bands, live music, specialty vehicles, local businesses, community groups, leaders and founders, equestrian entries, and more!
The festival is at the Rohnert Park Community Center Complex at 5401 Snyder Lane. Enjoy the Show & Shine Car Show, Kids Games, Food, Beer, Wine, Arts & Crafts, Talent Show, Mr. Lucky Legs Contest and Bed Races. Live music highlights the day featuring local bands.
Last year’s 50th Anniversary Celebration drew more than 15,000 spectators!
